How UCAS points are allocated for RAD exams
Graded and vocational graded examinations in dance at RQF Level 3 are allocated points on the UCAS tariff.
This means that candidates who achieve a pass or higher in Grades 6, 7, 8, Intermediate or Advanced Foundation can use their RAD exam result towards their points tariff when applying to a relevant course at a university or higher education in the UK.
You can find out more information on how UCAS points are awarded here.
Entry Requirements
Every potential RAD Ballet student must complete a taster session to assess the grade to which they are suited. Previous experience is unnecessary; however, regular attendance and a willingness to work hard are essential, alongside commitment and dedication. Please see Auditions for information on entry points for our RAD Ballet programmes.
NB: All Inter RAD Ballet classes are composite, and classes are grouped by ability. After enrolment, all Inter RAD Ballet Programmes payments can be made annually in advance or monthly by direct debit.
