Make a move with our Dance Performance Programme. The ideal academy class for young people Primary 3 to Secondary 6 with a keen interest in dance.

At iNTER Performing Arts Academy, students learn a variety of dance styles, including Jazz, Ballet and Hip-Hop, focusing on the different methods of the Hip-Hop genres, such as Popping and Locking, House, Waacking, etc. Jazz and Ballet classes are non-exam classes focusing on technique.

An early intro to dance is vital to young people hoping to carve out a career in performing arts, with a dance call standard practice at many performing arts college auditions. That’s why at iNTER we like to get dancing, giving eager young performers vital experience with movement classes for increased access to preferred undergraduate courses.

Dance increases flexibility, range of motion, physical strength and stamina. In addition to promoting good overall health, enhanced development in these areas can help with sports and other activities at school and beyond. Cultivating a love of dance from an early age can help motivate kids to stay active as they reach adulthood.

Whatever the style our dance students flourish creatively, expressing themselves in many ways while building trust, relationships, and critical thinking. Early childhood is the best period for developing creativity, and creative problem-solving will serve a student for life.

Along with the health and fitness benefits, dance is highly social. Our students learn to work as part of a team, develop a greater sense of trust and cooperation, and make new friends. Our students interact with their classmates and can develop lifelong friendships. Without realising, each student develops essential social and emotional skills.

Dance Performance is a standalone Programme or can be taken as a Programme Add-on to any other Programme at a discounted rate.
